why tuesday?

Have you ever thought why elections day are on a Tuesday in USA?

I was earring that question early this morning on the radio on my way to work so I decided to investigate, the easiest way was to ask my good friend from US trough messenger, happens that he never even questioned it, he just said we go early before work, or after work and this year will be crazy, probably huge lines.

I told him we vote on Sundays, if it was on a Tuesday or any other week day here I bet almost only the older people not working anymore would vote because the majority of us, and yes I am not proud, leave home already late for work blaming the damn traffic that we could avoid if we left 30 minutes earlier.

Oh and the huge lines at the end of the day, how can we manage that after work?
